In the news...

We had a great time during Storytelling Week. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance of the Ugly Duckling!

We were then able to participate in a storytelling workshop where we performed as characters in different settings.

We have been using smarties to help us collect data and create bar graphs. Smarties come in useful for a lot of things in maths!

The children had a great first term in Year 3 and we have learnt lots!

Our Cornerstones topics saw us look at urban art and how people used to live from the Iron Age to the Stone Age.

In numeracy we started off by looking at number and place value and learned our 3, 4 and 8 times tables - something to be continued in school and practised at home too!

Our literacy topics explored explanation texts, diary writing and adventure stories to name a few.

Autumn Term Learning

Our current literacy topic is: Adventure Stories

Our current numeracy topic is: Multiplication and Division

Our current science topic is: Light

Our current creative curriculum topic is: Tribal Tales

In the news...

In Year 3, we have been creating self portraits in the style of Picasso.

Well done to everyone who ran for School Council this year. In Year 3 Elm, Lexi and Summers were voted in as our School Council members - congratulations both!
