- Prevent and reduce persistent and severe absences by early detection, understanding individual barriers, and providing compassionate intervention.
- Promote positive habits of attendance and punctuality through consistent encouragement, recognition, and practical support.
- Achieve a whole school attendance rate of at least 97% encouraging everyone to contribute towards this target.
- Ensure parents and pupils remain aware of the importance of regular attendance, through clear communication and partnership.
- Integrate attendance monitoring with safeguarding, ensuring concerns are identified early and appropriate support is provided.
- Identify attendance issues promptly and respond effectively, using data informed practices and early intervention strategies.
- Working with families and externa; support to overcome obstacles, reflecting inclusive and supportive practice.
