ln year 5 the children have been learning about online safety. We are proud to say that our year 5 children know about online safety. In our school we teach children online safety from a young age (6 or 7). Right now the year 5 children are learning about animations and how to make them.

Year 5 has been learning about a King Kong book and they have just finished their own narrative about monsters and determined and fearful characters. The next book they are doing is called “father”.

In Maths, year 5 have been learning about decimals, fractions and percentages. Both year 5 classes are very quick and great at maths. Our year 5 Maths is challenging but it is simple enough so they don’t go home stressed.

Let’s talk History, in History year 5 we learned about the medieval times (black plague). After the half term they will be learning about tudors (king Henry the VIII).
